Trump – Paul – Debate

Tump-Donald
QUESTION: Marty; What did you think of Trump and Rand Paul in the debate?
Thanks
BP
ANSWER: I felt Trump held his own. The moderators were biased and starting the pretend debate with who will make a pledge not to run independent illustrated they were speaking the party line rather than an unbiased moderator. They introduced questions involving God, which were inappropriate for if there is no separation between church and state, then you are no different from Iran. Freedom of religion must include the freedom from any religion. If the majority of Americans become Muslim, then would it be appropriate to suppress Christians? This is a dangerous and inappropriate path to hell. It was the religious right of the Puritans who beheaded Charles I and inspired the English Revolution. When even the Protestants rose up against the Puritans did they flee to the USA and became out Pilgrims.
Rand Paul, on the other hand, showed he could not stand up to Christie. He revealed a lack of passion and commitment and that showed he was not really a leader. Very disappointing.
President-3rdParty
I would have to say that as the economy gets worse, one year will be interesting for it is a lifetime in politics. Trump may get only stronger for the one thing he said, he bought politicians all the time and paid Hillary to be at his wedding. The fact he is running on his own money is a huge plus. He may shake up Washington and the political establishment. His independence may fulfill that Third Party spike.
Pres-Turnout

Trump is bringing into the fold people who have never bothered to vote before. So our computer may be correct even on that forecast where the voter turnout should rise sharply.

Did FOX News Try to Politically Assassinate Trump to Maintain the Status Quo?

FOX News Political Debate
The bias of FOX News is really starting to show how they are attempting to influence the elections by destroying Donald Trump claiming he is against women. I think the attack is really exaggerated for he may say some wild things but is he really against women? I would say the evidence does not support that. Nonetheless, FOX News is showing this is going to be a really nasty campaign when they are taking on the lead in the political debates to try to deliberately stack the cards against Trump so we end up with Bush. This illustrates that they are not listening to the people or why the vast majority are in favor of Trump. A friend who is a die-hard Democrat said to me after the debate, “You know, I may just vote for Trump. Nobody owns this guy!” To say I was stunned is saying it mildly. This 2016 election is going to be really interesting for it appears this may develop as a war against the establishment and just another wasted 8 years by electing any professional politician since nothing will change.
The questioning NEVER dealt with any substance. Forget about the social issues, how about one single question about the future direction of the economy? Not a single political candidate who is of that professional class would deliver any possible change. Obama has proven that Democrat or Republican, it really does not matter. Obama has been Bush Part II. Nothing ever changes.
I did listen to Trump being interviewed on the telephone on Bloomberg News. I must say, he expressed opinions on who was the better Fed Chairman that others would be hard to remember any names from the past. When the economy turns down, we may see support for Trump rise rather tan fall. At the very least, Trump is expanding the voting base attracting more of the anti-politician movement. If anything, he might shake Washington up. It is hard to imagine and change will be to the better from any professional politician,
