This morning on CBS's Sunday Morning program they had a segment on '
'Welcome to the new economy built on sharing'
They showed many examples of 'sharing' homes, cars, even couches to sleep on for the night...all FOR MONEY!
This is NOT SHARING!
It is SELLING 'THE USE OF'...FOR MONEY!
People are RENTING the use of the items! For a PRICE!
TRUE SHARING is done with NO PROFIT being involved. It is done out of the goodness of one's heart out of the understanding that you may have more than you personally need and the kindness you feel towards your fellow citizens/friends. You certainly wouldn't be thinking you would 'get something' out of the transaction, except a good feeling out of seeing your fellow human enjoy what you have 'given' them.
Yes, SHARING is a form of GIVING, which means what you shared is GIVEN AWAY...with no thought of compensation.
What CBS should have called it was TRAINING FOR SOCIALISM, as once we are 'trained' to share our possessions with others, we will soon be told they they aren't OUR possessions anymore. That they BELONG to the community and we shouldn't be 'greedy' and ask for compensation for their maintenance and use.
We will be made to feel guilty that we aren't 'helping' our fellow citizens who can't afford to have their own possessions because they can't find a way to derive an income due to the government's policies that have destroyed our economy (and the world's economy) and destroyed any incentive for the creation of jobs.
Share away suckers! Pretty soon you will be in a line BEGGING for your turn to use 'the government's possessions' that formerly belonged to private citizens who worked for, and 'earned', the money to purchase them.
