I think this writer puts too much emphasis on 'depression drugs.' GT has personal experience with many of those drugs and considers that they relieved him of his depression borne of his brain's inability to produce enough serotonin.
This article does, however, at least give you some insight into the way TPTB think, and may, be constructing events to prepare the population  for 'the new austerity.' The article's title is a bit mis-leading.
