French Government on Brink of Collapse

Hollande-Colition
French President François Hollande has brought his country to ruin and threatens to bring down Euroland with him. His insane budget plans have been admitted cannot possibly meet EU rules before 2017 and even that assumes some recovery. Meanwhile, Hollande has lost his last government partner. The PRG chief Jean-Michel Baylet on Sunday evening on television, announced that his small center-left party PRG will terminate the alliance with the Socialists. Prime Minister Manuel Valls has stated that if the tax burden on the middle class in the draft budget 2015 is not reduced, the party will abandon the Socialists and withdraw its three ministers. Hollande’s term runs until 2017.
These people cannot grasp that raising taxes is not the way to stimulate an economy. They people should spend their own money – politicians only confiscate and then spend according to their self-interest. Sorry – it just does not work.

Obama May Turn to Private Armies – Will this be the New Plague?

Barack Obama may turn to private soldiers to wage war against the Islamic state. He has no real support to place American troops on the ground. He may turn to the use of private armies like Blackwater, which was renamed “Xe Services” in 2009, and “Academi” in 2011. The company was purchased in late 2010 by a group of private investors who changed the name to Academi and instituted a board of directors and new senior management.
The Black Death began because of war in Crimea. The Tartars came from Asia bringing the Black Death with them. They hurled dead bodies into the European troops and they fled taking the disease back to Europe where it killed about half the population. Sending troops to the Middle East will result in the spread of Ebola.
European airports are now starting to screen for Ebola.

Brussels Shuts Down Catalonia Referendum

Catalona-Referendum
Artur Mas Prime Minister of Catalonia, cancelled the planned independence referendum in the northeastern Spain region. At a meeting with the Catalan party leaders, the Prime Minister announced on Monday in Barcelona officially, that the legal basis for such a vote on November 9th does not exist bowing to pressure from Brussels. The Spanish Constitutional Court had the referendum prohibited by an action of the Madrid central government for the time being. The real pressure comes from Brussels fearing, as they did with Scotland, that the people should not be allowed to leave Euroland.

Hollande Proposes Creating a “Investment” Fund he can use to Balance the Budget – Not borrowing so no debt or pay-back required

Hollande-Francois-4
France’s Francois Hollande has come up with a brilliant idea. He want to satisfy EU rules not by reforming France, but by creating of a new EU investment fund of €300 billion euros. This fund should produce an annual flow of €10 billion euros for Paris. With the creation of such EU funds, France can avoid the necessary restructuring of its budget.
Taxes-Lingar
Of course, why someone would “invest” in something that is not profitable and would never return any investment capital is beyond contemplation. Hey – when you are a closet communist, whatever belongs to anyone else is really yours anyway. I just do not grasp where any logic can be found. As long as it is “investment” and not debt, then it qualifies under the rules. That also means you don’t have to pay it back either. Just brilliant! Any buyers?
